Who wouldn't want this artwork in their house?

Film + Scan

The one small downside to upgrading computers and operating systems is that sometimes, old software stops working.



This happened with the film scanner software. I tried a third party one, but after paying$40, it didn't work as well.



Luckily we have a lot of old computers lying around the house and one that had not been upgraded to OS Lion. Yay!



It was slow-going with the old first generation Macbook, but I wasn't complaining.



First film pictures of this year and, I think, since the roadtrip. I need to re-learn all the exposure and focusing tricks.

Lately

No excuses on my absence. I've just been lazy.



And time is whizzing by. It's almost spring, and we didn't really have much of a winter.




I'm looking forward to the warmer weather, but I also feel like I didn't get to wear much of my winter stuff!




Also, I think Instagram has some effect on my picture taking energy. It's easy and immediate. Even a digital point & shoot seems too slow, too much effort.




I'm going to carry around my film camera around and see how that goes.

Bright Greens!

Glasses I received for Christmas, handmade in upstate New York. They are so very delicate, but actually quite sturdy... and they make the most beautiful sound when knocked together.



Sherlock's wheatgrass. He makes such a mess, I wonder if any of it makes it into his body, until I clean his litter (eeeewwww!).
